Step 1: The Evaluation of the Hard Drive
The first step in the Data Recovery Process is to create a identical mirror image to one of our shop drives. We never work on the original drive without prior customer approval and only if the hardware has failed. If we have to replace a head or other internal component it is usually included as part of our free evaluation. At the end of the evaluation a complete file list is emailed showing exactly what files can be recovered. You can choose to have just the important files recovered or if you cannot be certain what you need we will recover all the files from the list. Click here to fill out the Evaluation Form

Step 2: The Hard Drive Recovery
We will recover your data. A detailed report will be faxed or e-mailed to you, usually the same day we receive your drive at our facility. The report will detail whether the problem stems from a hardware failure or software corruption, or both. A detailed file list and a firm quote to complete the data recovery will be included in this report.

Step 3: Successful Data Recovery
You will receive your hard drive and the recovered data on the medium of your choice.
